The long way to Norway

I managed to tear myself away from work and the gallery last month for a trip to Norway. The trip didn’t get off to a great start as my flight from Leeds and Bradford airport was delayed by half an hour, making me miss my connection from Amsterdam and having 8 hours to wait in Schipol airport! When I finally arrived in Kristiansand there was no luggage to be seen, not a great start by any means! Luckily I had my cameras in my hand luggage so I was able to capture some shots in Kristiansand before my suitcase turned up 2 days later and we headed up the coast to Stavanger and the fjords. The highlight of the trip was the hike up to the Priekestollen Rock. A magnificent natural cliff that towers 604 metres over Lysefjorden. A worthy location for a photograph! After a couple of days here we headed back down to Arendal, a traditional Norwegian fishing town with fantastic architecture and then a few more days in Kristiansand before heading back to England.
